Talented Education Group is operated by PT Pilar Pendidikan Internasional ("Talented", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse our website, ask about study opportunities, enroll in a program, pay an administration fee, or use the student portal.

Information we collect

1. Contact and identity details: name, email address, phone number, postal address, and details you provide when contacting us.
2. Application details: chosen program and intake; education, English test, work, travel and visa history; marital status; and the name and contact details of an emergency contact. Some of this information may be sensitive. Please tell your emergency contact before giving us their details.
3. Account and transaction details: email verification and account status, payment channel, amount, reference, and payment status. Payment card or bank details entered on a payment provider's hosted page are handled by that provider under its own notice.
4. Technical information: session identifiers, browser storage used for application drafts and payment recovery, and information needed to operate and protect the site.

Do not send documents or sensitive details that we have not requested for your application.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; recommend programs; prepare and manage applications; verify your email; provide the student portal; create and reconcile payments; communicate about your application; prevent misuse; maintain records; and meet legal obligations. We process information on an applicable basis, such as your request or our agreement with you, your consent where required, a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest that does not override your rights.

Who receives information

Staff and service providers who need the information may access it for these purposes. Depending on your chosen program and the service you request, recipients may include education providers, payment provider DOKU and its payment partners, email and hosting providers, and authorities involved in an application or visa process. We may also disclose information when required by law.

An overseas education application may require sharing information outside Indonesia. We will use applicable safeguards and provide any additional notice or seek consent when required. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, or visas.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed for the stated purposes, to resolve disputes, and to meet applicable recordkeeping duties, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. Retention depends on the record and the law that applies. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, obtain, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information; withdraw consent where processing relies on it; or object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when law or a valid claim requires it.
